We manufacture a wide variety of aluminized primary protective garments including Fire Resistant Nomex® and CarbonX® hoods. Silver Needle Inc.™ has also developed protective clothing for protection from cryogens including liquefied natural gas. Our products feature Dual Mirror Aluminized Fabrics, which are the most efficient high temperature and radiant heat barrier available in protective clothing. Dual Mirror Aluminized Garments offer excellent protection when used for industrial heat shielding applications including protection from molten metal splash hazards.
NATURAL GAS FLASH FIRE GAS EXTRACTION SUIT SYSTEMS. Using DuPont™ Kevlar® and DuPont™ Nomex® brand fibers, our team has developed the safest and highest quality Flash Fire/ Gas Extraction Suit System on the market. Our Gas Extraction Suit System features the only integrated internal extraction harness system in the industry (PAT. US 7,594,281 B1 and PAT. US 9,055,772 B2), which is rated for natural gas explosions, and electric arc flash (ATPV 47 cal/cm2). This suit system has been laboratory tested using DuPont™ THERMOMAN® technology, and NFPA 2112 Certified using ArcWear Laboratories FLASHCERT™ program in association with the Safety Equipment Institute.
